How to Book with TimeToPet
All scheduling, invoicing, and communication with Katnip & K-9s happens through TimeToPet — available 24/7 on any device.

TimeToPet is a professional pet care management platform that Katnip & K-9s uses to handle all scheduling, client communication, and invoicing. Instead of calling or texting to book a visit, you can request services, view upcoming appointments, pay invoices, and message Kat directly — all in one place, any time of day.
Creating an account is free and takes just a few minutes. Once you're set up, everything flows through your secure client portal.
How to Access TimeToPet
You can use TimeToPet from a browser or the free mobile app:
- 1 New client? Create your free account at timetopet.com/portal/katnipandk9s/create-account
- 2 Returning client? Log in at timetopet.com/portal/katnipandk9s
- 3 Prefer an app? Search TimeToPet in the App Store or Google Play and log in with the same credentials.
Getting Started — Conversations & Meet & Greet
After you create your account, Kat will send you a welcome message through the Conversations tab. This is also where all ongoing communication happens — no need to text or call for routine questions.
Before any service can begin, a free 30-minute Meet & Greet is required. Use the Schedule tab (see below) to request one. This lets Kat meet your pets, review care instructions, and collect a key. Please book the Meet & Greet at least 3 days before your service start date.
My Info Tab
The My Info tab stores all the details Kat needs to access your home and reach you in an emergency:
- ✓Home address and any access instructions (gate codes, lockbox location, entry notes)
- ✓Alarm code and disarm/arm instructions if applicable
- ✓Emergency contacts — a neighbor or local friend who can assist if needed
- ✓Preferred veterinarian name, address, and phone number
This information is securely stored and only accessible to Kat and her team. Fill it out completely before your first service.
Pets Tab
Create a profile for each pet in the Pets tab. A thorough profile helps Kat provide the best possible care:
- ✓Name, species, breed, age, and weight
- ✓Feeding schedule and portion sizes
- ✓Medications — type, dosage, and timing
- ✓Any behavioral notes, allergies, or special needs
- ✓A profile photo so Kat can recognize your pet right away
Schedule Tab — Requesting Services
The Schedule tab is where you request new visits and view upcoming appointments:
- 1 Click Request Service and choose the service type (Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, etc.)
- 2 Select your dates and the preferred visit time window (e.g., 7–9 am)
- 3 Add any notes for that visit (special instructions, guest arrivals, etc.)
- 4 Submit — Kat will confirm your request and you'll receive a notification
All upcoming and past visits are visible here. Kat sends GPS-stamped visit reports with photos after each appointment so you can see exactly how your pets are doing.
Invoices Tab — Payments
All invoices are generated automatically when a service is scheduled. You can pay securely by credit card directly through the portal — no checks, no cash, no hassle.

Holiday surcharges and any applicable discounts (e.g., First Responder 10% off) are applied automatically to your invoice.
Help Tab & Messaging Kat
The Help tab inside TimeToPet contains an in-app guide for navigating all features of the portal. For anything not covered there, use the Conversations tab to send Kat a direct message — she monitors messages daily during business hours (Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, Sat 10am–5pm). Her phone is monitored 24/7 for emergencies.
