How to Book with TimeToPet

🐾 What is TimeToPet?

TimeToPet is a professional pet care management platform that Katnip & K-9s uses to handle all scheduling, client communication, and invoicing. Instead of calling or texting to book a visit, you can request services, view upcoming appointments, pay invoices, and message Kat directly — all in one place, any time of day.

Creating an account is free and takes just a few minutes. Once you're set up, everything flows through your secure client portal.

📱 How to Access TimeToPet

You can use TimeToPet from a browser or the free mobile app:

👋 Getting Started — Conversations & Meet & Greet

After you create your account, Kat will send you a welcome message through the Conversations tab. This is also where all ongoing communication happens — no need to text or call for routine questions.

Before any service can begin, a free 30-minute Meet & Greet is required. Use the Schedule tab (see below) to request one. This lets Kat meet your pets, review care instructions, and collect a key. Please book the Meet & Greet at least 3 days before your service start date.

🏠 My Info Tab

The My Info tab stores all the details Kat needs to access your home and reach you in an emergency:

This information is securely stored and only accessible to Kat and her team. Fill it out completely before your first service.

🐶 Pets Tab

Create a profile for each pet in the Pets tab. A thorough profile helps Kat provide the best possible care:

📅 Schedule Tab — Requesting Services

The Schedule tab is where you request new visits and view upcoming appointments:

All upcoming and past visits are visible here. Kat sends GPS-stamped visit reports with photos after each appointment so you can see exactly how your pets are doing.

💳 Invoices Tab — Payments

All invoices are generated automatically when a service is scheduled. You can pay securely by credit card directly through the portal — no checks, no cash, no hassle.

Holiday surcharges and any applicable discounts (e.g., First Responder 10% off) are applied automatically to your invoice.

Help Tab & Messaging Kat

The Help tab inside TimeToPet contains an in-app guide for navigating all features of the portal. For anything not covered there, use the Conversations tab to send Kat a direct message — she monitors messages daily during business hours (Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, Sat 10am–5pm). Her phone is monitored 24/7 for emergencies.
